Majesty the king Mohammed VI, the
conference CARI'2008 regrouped more than
180 participants coming from
different Africain countries and from
France. By the wealth of its themes, and
fertile exchanges between participants,
the International Conference CARI
confirms its active role of catalyst of
synergies in computer science and in
applied mathematics. This meeting just
like previous, but with more requirement
on scientific quality, allowed to make
an inventory and report on advances
in many areas of computer science from
Complex Systems and Modelling, to
Embedded Systems, Computer Networks, and
Mobility. Many other themes like image
and multimedia, Scientific Computing and
Parallelism, Artificial Intelligence &
Computer-based Collaborative Learning
Environment, Information Systems,
Distributed Systems, and so on
allows the community of academics,
industrialists and specialists to
immerse in advances in the field
of Science and ICT.

About CARI'2008 (Rabat, Maroc)
The International
Conférence CARI held its ninth edition in Rabat
(Morocco) from 27 till 30 October 2008. It
confirmed his dynamic role in the animation of
research in computer science and applied
mathematics in Africa. The organised tutorials
in Kenitra, recorded an important participation
of researchers and were transmitted by video-conference
to AUF numerical Campus. ++
